SYTYCD 06/28

So not feeling Danny... why was he hysterically laughing when he found out he was in the bottom three? Like he wasn't supposed to be there or something. Cocky SOB. And why were his pants so freaking tight. Made me very uncomfortable.

I must say Jessie KILLED that. That was seriously impressive. I didn't know that that was her style of dance. The moves were going with the music... just hot. She is my second favorite female dancer next to Sabra. And her dance with Pasha was great... better than fake Bette Midler.

Sarah is impressive to. I like her. I can't really say anything else, but it was good.

Anya was awful. She can't really help it though since she is a ballroom dancer. I mean what was she supposed to do?

Lauren coulda done more. To me she just kinda stood there in her little bustier thing.

Jesus was good and Neil was good. But they both kept spinning a bit much for me.

Cedric needed to be in the bottom, but hey, that speech got people voting. Is it safe to say that he may be the equivalent of Sanjaya? No not quite because Cedric really does have talent.

The judges are ridiculous.... Jessie was the best. They are ridiculous. Anya and Lauren were BOTH much worse than her. WTF? Wierd she actually looks like Jaime Pressley. I am so over this dumb ass show. And they let Jesus go. WTF? WTFF (freaking). This show is absolutley stupid. And what did they beep out that he said? Extra awkward. ABSOLUTLY RIDICULOUS

Randomness

I cannot stand when people walk with their hands down. I've already said this in a previous post, but I just had to revisit. That signals a serious lack of confidence in my honest opinion. It's one thing not to acknowledge someone that you know that is passing your direction, but it is completly another to just constantly walk with your head down. I think that says that you arent confident enough in yourself to let people see you... and it is really uncute. Yeah, I said uncute.

Another thing I can't stand... the way it smells in the hospital section of where I work. It does NOT smell sanitary. Most hospitals have sort of a sterile smell to them... a clean and crisp lysol-ish smell. No noo.. Not where I work. It smells like rotten meat with some kinda nasty scent over it. Everytime I go to the specific level... I almost gag. If I knew how to throw up (I havent thrown up since I was 3 so I think it is safe to say that I don't know how) I am sure I would. Very not-appealing.

Isn't it kinda silly that the only thing I have time to write about anymore is So You Think You Can Dance? I mean really. Maybe this means I am getting tired of this whole blog thing?

SYTYCD 06/27

Oh my goodness! Poor Pasha. What in the world was that? I mean seriously.... why did they choose that no dancing red head to dance with him? He couldn't even lift her up. It was just soooo awkward. Pasha did good... but it was just extra weird. Why did Debbie Allen say he was dancing with Bette Midler. Very wow. Pasha was "daring"... he had to be to pick her up (nothing against chunkier people... but she was kinda bigger than him).

Sarah and Jesus: I LIKE Jesus! No matter what style he does he GETS IT. I mean come on, for the "krumping" he looked a straight cholo. LOL. Had the attitude and everything. Sarah was good too. I think the music had a lot to do with it.

Cedric and Shauna: I will admit, it hurt me too much to see this dance. Although I do like his little speech he gave at the end. I think his main problem is that he's really tall and lanky and can't really control his movement (which is why his style looks so cool). And Shauna is rather good. Mary didn't have to be so harsh though.

Lacey and Kameron: NOT FEELING them. Yeah there dance was good. But just because you are effing behind closed doors doesn't mean the world needs to know about it.

Danny and Anya: I actually didn't like it. I felt no emotion. It looked like hip-hop by the numbers.

Dominic and Sabra: They are good. I mean seriously... she started dancing 4 years ago and he has had no "formal" training and the killed that. Dominic even had the hip action and everything

Hok and Jaime: GREAT. My favorite for the night by far. Jaime is very talented the movement she went through at the beginning was amazing. I'm talking about the upper body movement. It looked like she was kinda pop/locking softly very nice. The arm thing got me... woooo. So impressed by her. And we all now I like Hok... he used some of his moves but still did very good on the other movement. Music was perfect too.

Lauren and Neil: It was solid. But honestly, it didn't blow me away or anything. I can't even think of anything to really write about it.

Who SHOULD be in the bottom 3: Cedric/Shauna (lets be real)...Lauren and Neil...Danny and Anya.

If Sabra and/or Dominic goes home tomorrow...Im not watching anymore and I mean it.

That What If's

Just got nostalgic…and when I get nostalgic…I get to thinking. Yes yes… shoulda woulda coulda’s are stupid and just a waste of time. But hey, I feel it, so here goes. If I had one more year of eligibility… I so woulda been the ish. And that is not even saying it in a cocky way. I was hurt for three years out of my four years of eligibility. I didn’t start getting good workouts in until that last year. I mean seriously… how do you go from not being on the top all time performances list… to being 3rd in one year? It’s kinda funny because I think; what if that pivotal night I had where I was deciding my future, I decided to train for track instead of training for the LSAT. What woulda happened then? Would I have run a 22 something (pretty sure…97 percent sure I woulda). It just kinda hurts when you think of the shoulda woulda couldas. And for that matter, what woulda happened had I not cared about school 95 percent and track 5 percent. What if I woulda cared 75% school and 25% track? Would I still have been going to a top 20 law school then? See, this is why I don’t like that think…lol.

Chea!

So I went to the fair tonight to see Boyz II Men and can I say it was hot! I mean seriously. Dudes are still sexy 10 years later... AND they can still sing. I was getting chill bumps... just straight greatness.

SYTYCD: 06/21/07

Um kay, so I am angry about this one. I mean seriously. First let me recap the performances that i remember.

- Lauren and Neil were awful and anyone who says that they weren't was not seeing the same thing I saw. Actually, let me back up Neil was decent...Lauren was doing nothing. People are just voting for her because they know she dances with Tice Diorio. BFD. They needed to be in the bottom.

- Jessie and Pasha: loved the dance. At first, I was a bit scared for pasha when the got jazz, but he handled it, possibly better than she did. However, I don't think Pasha shoulda stayed. He did NOT dance for his life. Last week they voted that dude off because he didn't dance for his life, so they shoulda done the same this week. Even though I like Pasha...

- Lacey and Kameron: yeah Im not sure what I don't like about this couple. Maybe it is the fact that the are obviously "eff-ing". I am not sure. The dance was OK...

- Sabra and Dominic: I was really impressed with Dominic...I was worried about him. Sabra did good and I am really starting to like her. Last week I coulda done without her, but I liked her this week.

- Jimmie and Shauna: Jimmie was getting it in this dance...I mean getting it! He was popping it and stuff...very entertaining. Shauna was "dance by numbers" yet she stayed because she danced for her life. Jimmie left because the judges have serious issues. Jimmie was my favorite by far and he's gone. Very boo.

- Cedric and Faina: Cedric was very boo...Faina was aight. But in the solo's the were the opposite... Faina was extra boo and Cedric was good. She left, he stayed. Not sure how to feel about this. Although I think his solo dancing is sexy...his partner dancing is hurting and as much as I didn't want to see him go... I think he shoulda.

- Natasha Anya and Danny: As much as I don't want to like him, I must admit he is GOOD... And I really like Anya. Not much more to say.

- Hok and Jaime were OK. Hok was getting the hips at the beginning but it faultered at the end. They also looked kinda wierd because she's extra bigger than him. Honestly, they coulda stood to be in the bottom too.

- Sarah and Jesus were cool too. Loved Jesus...he was all commanding and stuff. Sarah actually is doing much better than I thought she would.

So that's my take. JIMMIE shoulda stayed GDit! And why are the dudes like 80 times better than the females this season? I don't even hardly notice them.

Randomness v.7

- I think watching "Best Week Ever" slightly tipsy would be fun (not that I've ever been tipsy). I was just watching this weeks when the Asian Cowboy passed out standing up and was laughing so hard I started crying.

- Why are there so many attractive janitors/patient mobility specialists where I work? I am just trying to figure it out. I mean.... hawt.

- On that note... I feel like I am in that scene in "40 Days and 40 Nights" where dude is in the coffee shop and sees all these women naked because he can't have them. Yeah... that's me... just a bit more PG. Everywhere I go...I feel like there are attractive men just calling my name. It is awful in the very best of ways. I think part of it is is that I am not used to seeing attractive men WHILE I have a boyfriend. In college... all the dudes were hurt, but now that I get out and see other people, it's like WOW there are attractive dudes out there. It's not a temptation thing at all, but I never noticed it before and it's crazy.

- Im glad Joanna is gone from Hell's Kitchen, she whined toooo much.

Dream Within A Dream

Oh yeah, was that dance Cedric did to this Wade Robson song hot as hell. I mean seriously. I was feeling it... I mean not just hot dance wise... it was sexy as WHAT. I feel kind wierd saying that being that he is 3 years younger than me... but hey he's legal right? LOL.

And the song it's self is not bad either.

EDIT: Oh shoooot! I found out he's 23 too.... no more feeling bad about it. That MF is HAWT!!!!!! And just like I said in this post.... men who can dance up their sexy level x5.

SYTYCD 06/14

How tall is Shane Sparks? I mean really. Imma give him a good 5'3.

I think the couple that left needed to go home. Both of them did their final dance like they didn't give two boo boo's about it. I didn't like Ricky's hair... it looked so greasy and very unappealing. And note to girls without a big chest area... just because you don't have large chests does NOT mean that you don't have to wear a bra. We all got more than we were asking for last night when girl did not have a bra on and was poking out everywhere.

That Cedric guy is so cute (in a baby kinda way)! You just want to pinch his checks. However, his dancing was not cute... it was HAWT.... LOVED the movement.

NOT feeling the girl that danced with Tyce Diorio... she has that hidden cocky that just really isn't cute.

Oh yeah, and they are really starting to annoy me...trying to be cutsy and stuff. Coming up with different and "quirky" ways to put their number on the screen. SOOOO annoying x 15. That's why I liked Pasha because he just stood there and smiled. It was classy. But these little kids just up there acting all stupid and stuff trying to show personality. It looks totally contrived and you look foolish. But then again I am 23... maybe that ish attracts pre-teens and teen... I don't know.

SYTYCD 06/13/07

Hok could so get it.... I mean seriously though. He is quite possibly the cutest Japanese guy ever (well him and Ken Watanabe, but that is neither here nor there). I loved the part were he was on his knee sliding. HAWT. The Jaime girl tried though... not her style. She popped a little, but it was very meh.

Anya... I just like her. She's go the attitude and the stage precense. Why does she look like Natasha from America's Next Top Model though? Danny was awful. He had on heels and the belt was awful. I think he is cocky... yes he's a good dancer but my goodness.

Lacey and that other dude were absolutly great. She surprised me. Like Mary said, I don't know what I felt, but I felt something. Favorite routine.

Sabra and the other dude. Disco is always very meh for me. They might be gone might be gone.

The couple that supposedly did the sexy dance... it was HORRID. I mean horrid.

Sara... I LIKE HER. Jesus (Imma call him Chuy). I LIKE HIM. I loved the dance... I don't care what anyone says. Wade Robeson is a good coregrapher.

DUUUUUUUUDE....

so why today was a reading a blog and someone mentioned that Harry Potter might indeed by one of the missing Horcruxes? Oh my gracious gee... why had I never realized the possibility? I mean seriously. It makes total sense... they can't both be living... we know that... be what if Harry finds out that he is a Horcrux? I think he will be willing to die, but I don't think he will have to... some wierd turn of events is going to happen though. OH MY GOSH I CANT WAIT UNTIL IT COMES OUT! AHHHHHH!

Keiko Matsui

is the best pianist ever (sorry Philippe Saisse, your title has been recended... you now get 2nd place). Before I listened to her Wildflower CD, Philippe Saisse was in first and she was in second, but this CD is just amazing to listen to. There are so many levels of feeling in her pieces...i mean layers upon layers. The songs are the kind where you can listen to a song 5 different times and concentrate on 5 different elements and get 5 different feelings. My favorite songs are Flashback, Eldest of All, Facing Up, and Reflections.

I was listening to Eldest ofAll today and if vaugly reminds me of the culmination of excitement in an epic Movie when someone is victorious and is standing ontop of a mountain top. Just strong emotion. I just got chills eating my Burger King.

But seriously though.... she has 10 plus albums and all have a different feel but still manage to keep that Keiko Matsui vibe. She's just freaking great.

The Asian Cowboy

WTF is up with this dude? I mean seriously. I didn't know people were really allowed to be that emotional. He was crying before stuff even started! Come on now. Get yourself together dude. And he was trying to act like he didn't know where all the emotions were coming from. Whatever dude, you know you act like that all the time. He has extra stores of estrogen built up somewhere cuz that was just not necessary.

Ew, and why did that chick come on with those shorts on. No behind having self. It was actually really gross because it was saggy.

And I am sorry I have got to say this, mainly because of the black utility heuristic/linked fate theories, but I do NOT like Joanna and want her gone as soon as possible.

The Break-Up

Intresting movie.... the funniest part was the gay brother... otherwise, it really wasn't funny. It's kinda real though....

How To Toot

Please tell me how one "toot's that thang up". I am really interested to know. What I imagine is someone on a handstand doing really nasty things and stuff.

Kathy Griffin is one funny person. It's the way she delivers the stuff. GREAT!

Akon, WTF?? You canNOT be serious.

What the hell is wrong with Akon?? Please tell me. Yeah this is old news, but I kinda forgot about it until I saw a clip of him actually throwing dude into the crowd. OK. So first, Akon gets in trouble for dry humping a 14 year old in a Trini club. First of all.... what WAS THAT? It was actually disturbing. I know in the Caribbean clubs do it a little different but dang... really Akon? I thought you were a singer, not a "man friday". And then Akon threw a dude into the crowd because he threw something onstage. Why did he think that was OK? The kid threw a little piece of paper on the stage, and then Akon proceeds to invite him on the stage, grab him between his legs, hoist the boy over his head... and TOSS him in the stage. Just extra wow.

Oh yeah, AND you're 35 trying to act like you are 24. Everyone knew your butt wasn't no 24... And I've heard of making little changes to your age in certain situations but 11 years. That is a bit more than creative license don't you think?

I like Sherrod Small from Best Week Ever. He's funny.

Shut The Front Door!

Why did Benji's sister say that when they let her in the top 20? That made me giggle. I thought they forgot to bleep out the eff word. lol. So this is so far who I'm liking... just off the first couple of weeks. I know my opinion is going to change after the first week. Let's see though:

Anya: Loved her audition piece with the dude.
Faina: I am just partial to ballroom/latin dancers. She's cool.
Hok: Need I say more. The things he can do are ridiculous.
Jesus: Loved his audition piece, plus he seems nice. He has LIFT.
Lacey: Benji's sister... I'm liking her. I like her style and the dance she did with Benji was hot.
Jimmy: They didn't show him. He's black gotta support.
Sabra: I'm mad they didn't even show her. Just WRONG. I bet she will be the first to go. But she's black... gots to support.

Worst Lyrics Ever

"Konvict music Nappy Boy OOOOWEEEEE" - T. Pain.

When and if someone finds out what this means, please inform me because am I really interested to know.

Really Disney? Really?

Yeah, so there was nothing on TV so I turned to the Disney Channel as a last resort. The Proud Family was on so I was like... eh OK. This show is straight up and down ridiculous. Why do they make the characters talk like that. Why did someone just say, "That's some real spit yo". Gaaaa dog. This makes me sad. But should it? Should I be happy because it is a "real" representation of African American youths? Or should I be upset because it is perpetuating the stereotype that we don't know how to talk and/or act. And yes, like I said before... I think of EVERY thing consciously. I don't know why, I guess it's a gift.

The Way You Move

MAN! I didn't think it possible... but the cover version of Outkast's "The Way You Move" is quite possibly hotter than the original. Kenny G and Earth Wind and Fire just blew this song up in the best possible way. And I can't believe I heard it for the first time today when it came out in 2005. What is up with that?

And Kenny G. actually sounds rather good in this song. I usually don't like his style... as a matter of fact, I could say that I hate it. It is just to lovey-dovey la la la with no soul. Saxophone to me should have soul at all times. It is just a must. Kenny G. just be looking like he never tips the sax up... just never. But on this song, he got the soul part and everything. And Maurice White's part at the end was nice... didn't so much like Philip Bailey's part. His voice just can't do what it used to... but Maurice's can.

Anyway, if you like Smooth Jazz or "The Way You Move", check it out.

Randomness v.6

So why is there a lady at my job named Cliche? Please remember that I work in RICHMOND.... Also tell me why there were peanut shells in the ladies restroom stall a couple of days ago? Was someone relieving themselves while shelling peanuts? I am just trying to figure that one out.

June LSAT advice:

1. Do not try to guess the experimental section of the test because you will get it wrong. Please trust, I tried and got a 48 percent on the Reading Comprehension. NOT HOT. Luckily, I got a 97 and 92 percent on the Logic Games and Logical Reasoning respectively my score still averaged to be OK (well better than OK but whatever).

2. Don't stress on the stupid people asking questions. They are trying to psych people out and prolong the instructional part of the test because THEY aren't confident. I mean really, the questions they be asking were answered in the first part of LSAT class and in the first chapter of home study guides.

3. Get there 5 minutes early... not an hour, 30 minutes or even 10 minutes. 5 minutes. Anymore time you are going to start wondering and making yourself unsure of yourself... and that is not too good.

- It sucks that Barnes and Noble sells every possible subject matter in study guide form but they don’t have any introductions/study guides for substantive law courses. Dang, I wanted to get some background on some subjects because Imma be straight LOST in Civil Procedure and Torts and Property. And wouldn’t it be a trick-a-docious if I got those three my first semester?

- Is it just me or was Real World Denver one of the most relatable casts in the past 10 years? The ones before them were just dumb, but at least they had some substance. They actually HAD a job… not producing a SxSW video that they probably didn’t do, or running a ship. I actually made it a point to watch it bi-monthly. I wasn’t addicted to it where I watched it every week. And Tyree is kinda a cutie. That body thickness is a bit frightening though… And I recant my statement that Vegas was the worst season. NO NO. That title goes to Chicago. That was awful. All I remember was Aneesa’s nakedness and Tanya's kidney stones.

- I absolutely hate (and I don't like to use that word) when people go out in public in pajamas. Pajama pants is one thing, but full pajama top and bottom is just not cute. Also, I don't understand this "new" fad of wearing a towel outside when it's cold. Wearing the towel like it is a shawl. And it be those ugly Scooby Doo towels and stuff. It is NOT cute. I was walking to work (remember once again... Richmond) and I saw this little high school like chick was outside walking and she had on house slippers, pajama pants a ratty old tee-shirt and one of those small ass Baby Phat puff coats WITH the Scooby Doo towel thing over it. Just looked straight awful.

San Francisco Reader

OK, so there are a couple of readers from "San Francisco" that are repeat visitors and I am starting to wonder if they know me.... Wierd. Those readers.... do you know me? Tee hee hee. If you do come forth so I can know who's reading my mess. Lucky I dont say bad things about people huh.

A New Niche

Have you ever noticed (well first let me say that I don't know if this apply to other states but it SURE applies in CA) that the vast majority of parking lots are owned by Ethiopians? Is that their niche within the Californian economy? I mean seriously. Asian people tend to own dry cleaners and beauty supply stores, Southeastern Asians tend to own the Mini-Marts, and apparently Ethiopians own parking garages. The last three jobs I've had, Ethiopians have run them... hmmm

Investor Gadget?

Please tell me why this chick on Charm School said "Investor Gadget" in a hella serious way. InSPECtor maybe... or InVESTIGAtor but surely not Investor gadget. I am pretty sure he is not trying to find a place to spend his money.

Why is VH1 coming up with a show called "Rock of Love"? I mean really? I wonder if anybody is actually going to watch that show. The title doesn't even make sense. Rock of Love? Flavor of Love at least sort of made sense, but ROCK... yeah how bout no. And who is that dude anyway? Maybe I just don't know him because I don't like that good ole time rock and roll. I don't know. And why do all of the contestants seem just extra countrified? I guess the people on the outskirts of society were tired of not seeing themselves on the ABC/NBC dating shows and felt the need to make their own now. You NEVER saw any black people or country people on those shows that made it past the first elimination. It just didn't happen. I guess VH1 is the new haven for those on the outskirts of society... kinda so they feel normal because they see others on TV just as effed up as them.
