Um, You're A Loser.... Thanks

You know, I was just watching MTV (there is nothing on TV, cut me some slack... gaa) and at the end of every show, they play like a 60 second clip of a video. Now, I just saw this one video... I don't know what the title of it is, but it is the song that goes, "through some d's on it". Wait, I believe that is the title of the song. So the clip that I saw was dude standing in a crowded intersection (I think) rapping about how he just bought a Cadillac and he was now ready to put some "d's" on them. By the way, I think d's are rims, never heard this word before, but the kept showing rims, so I am going to assume that d's are rims. Anyway, I've digressed... the video was just ridiculous... so dude is rapping in this crowded intersection with cars driving around them and chicks on the roof and all that junk.

So HERE is the part that confused me... during the video, dude is singing and then they are showing like montage clips of I guess people where he is from or whatever. There was this one scrawny dude with no shirt on and he was just staring into the camera like he was proud and junk. And when I say scrawny, I don't mean emaciated looking, I mean like dude thought he was swole but he just really wasn't. And then they kept shooting all of these houses that looked just tore down and everything. And people were in front of them with all of these expensive cars. I mean WTF??? Be Real with your life guy, be real. You are living in squalor like conditions yet you have a car that probably could buy you a house. I mean it is absolutely ridiculous. Just like hella proud! Standing in front of these houses that looked like shacks with 100,000 worth of car on the lawn. Give me a GD break. Now, there is nothing wrong with a video that shows the conditions of poverty such as that, "Po' Folks" video that showed the typical life of a rural Mississippian (I believe). Nothing wrong with that because they don't have the means to do better and the video was showing that part of life to people that don't usually come in contact with that sort of thing. But that video... just made no damn sense.

Conclusion: Take your D's off your car and throw some of that obviously D money on your GD house, how about that.

Cutthroatedness Man!

DAMN! Rich white chicks are gangsta man! Just straight up and down dirty style. I was watching, "The Hills" on MTV last night (there was nothing on and it amazes me how silly young rich white chicks are) and these chicks are the most backstabbingest tricks I have ever seen! OK, so on this episode, the main character and her best friend just got into a really big fight and they are on the reconcile. Cut to a scenes of the main characters best friend and her other best friend having lunch and talking about the boy that the main character really likes. Turns out that the other best friend kinda wants to hook up with the dude too, so the best friend invites him to the other best friends birthday party. So, cut to a scene of these white girls at the birthday party eating and drinking and the main character is getting all sentimental over the girls birthday and everything and even gives her a necklace with real diamonds in them (note, these chicks are like 21). So then, at the table with the main character, her two best friends start whispering about the dude she likes and they go to the bathroom and the one best friend tells the other that she should hook up with him that night. Cut to a scene of the two best friends and a boyfriend and the guy the main character wants to hook up with and they cut out of the club real fast and leave the main character just there wondering where everyone went. Cut to another scene and the main character is talking with her co-worker and says that the other best friend called her at like 2am and asked if she minded if she hooked up with her crush. WTF is that??? That is soooooo dirty dude! That is exactly why I am not the fondest of females.... GAAA DOG!

Engaged and Underage

Ok.... a couple of days ago, a friend asked me if I was just too conscious... if I thought about everything consciously. My answer to that was yes.... his response was to ask if it made me too mad, and my answer is no. I find an issue... then discuss it or write it in my blog, then I dispose of it. So NO, I don't think that I am overly conscious about the world. Things bother me and I have to say them, so there. HMPH.

OK, so the title of the post. MTV has a show called, "Engaged and Underage" and I can't help but wonder if this is a bit socially irresponsible. Yes, the minimum age to be on the show is 18 and one can legally get married at 18 so there really shouldn't be a problem right? Yeah, wrong. I think there is a big problem. When you are 18, you are just a child. I don't care what experiences you've gone through or blah blah, you are still a child. There is no way at 18 to completely know oneself. Yes, it is true that some 30 or 50 or 70 year olds don't know themselves as well as they would like to, but there are more life experiences that come with age.

Anyway, my problem is that the show makes it seem OK for 18 year olds to be married. Although I am a proponent of "Doing You", I can't understand why someone would do this. And I am not just talking out of my behind because I only too well know the feelings that are going though their minds. At 20, I KNEW I wanted to get married to my boyfriend and he KNEW he wanted to get married to me. I mean convinced and there was no one who could tell me any different. I didn't really discuss it with anyone, but I knew that people didn't agree with it and I couldn't understand why. Now, I am 23 and I KNOW that would have been the biggest mistake ever. That doesn't mean that I don't love him, because I do, but it is not the right time. We aren't settled and don't know ourselves yet. Not the time.

To me, the show is saying, "People tell you you are too young to get married, well then eff em because these people did it so SO CAN YOU!!!" However as much as I am going off about the show... I can't stop watching it because it is so hilarious to me. Especially the Mexican chick and the black dude that were going to get married. They had this big ass immature ass blow out on the eve of their wedding, they treated each other like ish, yet they still got married. Or the two couples who lived in their parents guest house/ a trailer in their garage. WTF? This just proves these people aren't mature or stable to be getting married. GAAH.
